The child profile information you provide (name, age, appearance, interests) is used solely to personalize the stories we generate and deliver to you. This information is stored securely and is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to identify your child outside of our service.
Paideia Stories is a service directed at parents and guardians, not at children directly. Parents and guardians control all account and profile information.
Stories are generated using AI language models (Anthropic Claude) and AI image generation (OpenAI). Story prompts include child profile details to enable personalization. These prompts are sent to Anthropic and OpenAI via their APIs under their respective data processing agreements. Neither Anthropic nor OpenAI uses your data to train their models under our API agreements.
Stories are delivered to your inbox via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email service provider. Your email address is shared with Brevo solely for the purpose of delivering your stories and service notifications.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
We retain your account information and child profiles for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days before deletion in case you wish to resubscribe. You may request immediate deletion of your data by emailing us at hello@paideiastories.com.
Generated stories are stored on our servers for up to 30 days after delivery, then deleted.
